We could have all eaten so much great food and wasted so much. Have we ever realized how much effort goes into producing a single crop?!!
Have you ever thought about how much suffering the farmer has endured?!!
Because agriculture supports 70% of the Indian people, it is referred to as the "backbone" of the Indian economy. Farmers are not given much attention, and we rarely think about them or appreciate them.
Every farmer, I'm sure, has his own stories and hardships. Many are unknown to the rest of the world. Few, though, could have entered the spotlight. I just heard a farmer's story like that.
He is JUGADU KAMLESH, A PROUD FARMER....!!!
"If I do a job, I will be someone's slave for 24 hours, and we are farmers, we do not want to be anyone's slave".
- KAMLESH...
I'm not sure what will convey Kamlesh's entrepreneurial passion better than this statement. Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare or Jugadu Kamlesh captured everyone's heart on Shark Tank India with his latest pitch and upbeat personality. He came along with his nephew Naru and pitched his idea for a pesticide trolley spray. He is from Tarpada, a hamlet 20 kilometres outside of Malegaon, Maharashtra. Kamlesh belongs to a farming family and hence knows their difficulties. Kamlesh completed his 12th grade in the Science stream, then began his BCA but stopped after two years due to a lack of interest.
Farmers must use pesticides to safeguard their crops; yet, these chemicals are harmful to their health and induce a variety of ailments. Kamlesh's father also suffered from a pesticide-related sickness, which inspired Kamlesh's Shark Tank product - a pesticide trolley spray.
Pesticide sprayers are widely available on the market. The cost-effective ones are to be carried on shoulders, while others are too expensive for most Indian farmers to afford. To help his father and other farmers like him, Kamlesh designed a trolley-like design that holds pesticide bottles and has a handle to which the sprayer is attached, making it easier to operate.
Kamlesh created the device in 2014 despite having no professional degree. He began making these sprayers after purchasing fragments from a neighbouring scrap dealer. He utilized it personally and continued to make required improvements. It took him seven years to complete the concept he showed on Shark Tank.
He obtained 10,00,000 rupees in finance for 40% equity from Shark Peyush Bansal (LENSKART, CO-FOUNDER), as well as a flexible no-interest loan of 20,00,000 rupees, which he may return in tiny sums as he generates income from marketing the product.

Kamlesh intends to use the cash he obtained to create electric versions of his prototype, which will also include the seed dropping function, as well as other goods that will substantially benefit the country's farmers. Kamlesh also has a YouTube channel called Jugadu Kamlesh, where he released a video of himself using the spray in 2017 that went viral and now has over 8 million views.
Many tales all around you astound you every second. You have got to know one such person today!! INDIA has so many great things...
